So I lied
I am back from a couple of days of hiatus. Was it? Or has it been a week? and more?
What happened? Who cares? Besides, I don’t have readers that I need to explain to and who wants to know why I was away for a few days.
Okay okay, just in case there are a few readers who might want to know.
DAY 15-FRIDAY
It was a weekend but not a movie night. We had to pick up the car at Enterprise for our office family day outing the next day. Then we went to Future shop Bayer’s Lake, Lyneth had to return a purchase. While she talked to customer service, I roamed around. It’s a gadget store, how can you resist not to. Now this is why I’d rather stay home, I got my self the ZAGG-invisibleSHIELD for my iphone.
Looks easy? N-O-T! I regretted I got myself one. If you ever thought of getting yourself one, make sure you do it in a clean room.
The next day, I noticed some discoloration on the back part, I figured, it is from the leather case. Since Zagg offers a lifetime warranty, I emailed them inquiring if that is covered by warranty. They got back and told me that a separate case is not to be used along with invisibleSHIELD. I didn’t know that. It was not written in their package or was told in any of their videos. Luckily, they are willing to give me a one time replacement free I just have to pay for S&H and return them the damaged one. I have to take care of that in the next days.
LESSON LEARNED: overprotecting is not always good
Oh and I bought myself a car charger you know how 3G can eat up the battery.
DAY 16-SATURDAY
We left early for New Brunswick to meet up at Joggins Fossil Center. The night before, I already set the directions on my google maps from home to where we needed to be. Just in case, cause I’m not yet so familiar with the place.
Google maps was handy. It was really really helpful except for my mobile carrier, Rogers. It has some weak spots and when we where nearing the place about 10-15 kms, the signal went dead.
We arrived there hours earlier than the call time, so we checked out the area. I stretched out my legs from the not so long drive. On road trips, I normally bring my camera with me. We walked around, took a couple of shots and decided that I’ll do a comparison between the iphone’s camera and my 6.1 MP camera. I’ll post that in my next entries.
We left Joggins around 4pm and was back in Halifax in 2 hours. Had to drop a friend home then ate dinner and returned the car. Was too tired to write a blog then.
Day 17 – Sunday
I was up early, needed to be someplace. When I got home took a nap and received a phone call from a friend. We ate out for dinner and was home just in time for Amazing Race. These TV shows are the reason why I can’t diligently put up entries on time. They eat up my time almost everyday, and when I’m done watching it’s pass bedtime. All the more I feel it’s already fall. That day I failed again.
Day 18 – Monday
I was sick with upset stomach. Maybe from all the food I ate over the weekend. There’s only two place I was in that day. The washroom (excuse me) and the bed. If I’m not in the loo I’m asleep. I wasn’t able to log onto cyber space if I can remember it right and was able to tweet only once. Again, I failed to put up a blog post.
Day 19 – Tuesday
Back to work. Needed to catch up with work and a lot of things. When I step out our door, our neighbor’s newspaper is always by their door. I caught a glimpse of the apple logo with the words Bell and Telus on the front page then walked away. Thinking that it couldn’t be possible, so I shake it off. Then, Durwin my Mac Guru confirmed it. Bell and Telus is having an iphone in their line of mobile phones. Dang! I should have just waited. Oh well, what can I do. It’s the same phone on a different network. But still! Sigh…I still was not able to put up a blog. What a wimp!
Day 20 – Wednesday
Nothing interesting happened. I was able to send off my papers. YAY! That is also one thing that’s eating up my time. Hmm…what else? I just felt tired so I went to bed early. WUSSY!
Day 21 – Thursday
Backtracking and finally I’m up to date. It’s a start. Tomorrow, hopefully I’d be able to organize the pictures and post about it. Like I said, after the tv shows, it’s past my bedtime. Good thing I was in the mood to blog in between commercials.
What’s up?
Same old same old, nothing new and interesting. I’m waiting for my first monthly statement to arrive anytime soon. I guess. Tomorrow maybe. Nah. it’ll find it’s way to our mailbox.
My journey continues, I’m just trying to catch up.
